So, yeah. I'm working on this documentary about the JFK assassination and I was reading some interesting polling information regarding the general shifts in public perception as to whether or not Oswald acted alone. Curious to see what the (relatively) young group that we are, most of whom weren't even born when it went down, thinks about it.
So, did Oswald act alone?
The CIA and FBI were definately involved. Bush also planned 9/11, and the Illuminati are creating a new world order to enslave us.
I don't care or know enough about it... I thought they'd never caught the guy.
who the f*ck is jackie?
Blame those filthy communists.
Also, Paul is dead.

Create a "New" World Order?
But they already -are- our shadowy puppet overlords and they like the world exactly the way it is. Also they have controlled the outcome of every national and most state elections in the US since the early 1900s.

Jackie Kennedy, man. When JFK's head is blown to bits, she jumps up on the back of the limo, trying to pick up pieces of his brain in all her hot glory. Man, the modern world has really desensitized me, huh?
By the way, you can see all this in the Zapruder film which also lends a lot to the debate. You should check it out on youtube, but be warned of its graphic nature. Clearly you can see his head snap backwards, inconsistent (at least in conventional logic) with the idea that Oswald hit him from behind.
It's History.
While we shouldn't forget it, I don't need to know why he was killed.
it happened.
Who gives a care if it was a Conspiracy or not? People will always find arguments to support their case, even if they are right or wrong.
I agree TNVW.
One of the neat things about working on this show has been being able to separate myself from the who is right and who is wrong. To our parents generation this was very much more important, because the event literally altered the course of their lives and they needed a reason for it. For me I find its very different, less present. You can't change the past right?
But that doesn't mean its not fun to be a detective. The wealth of information about what happened is unbelievable, and digging through it you don't just learn about the event itself, but how it changed the people it effected. And yeah, its fun to wildly speculate too. I don't think you have to -know- you are right about something to argue for it. That's politics bitch. (which is a line from something not an insult <_<)

I'm curious, since the FBI in its present form dates back to the 30's, and the CIA was effectively formed in the post WWII period, how is this possible?
You sweet fool, Kiaring.
Who do you think they answer to?

Sounds like somebody knows too much.
[Waits patiently for the FBI to come in and delete this thread and erase everyone's memories]
Men in Black are much cooler imo. I bet JFK was an alien (probably insect, hence the need for extermination).
Back, and to the left.
Before dying in 2007, Watergate burglar and ex-CIA agent E. Howard Hunt implicated a few long-dead CIA agents in the JFK assassination, while Hunt denied his own culpability. He claimed it was because LBJ had a maniacal drive to be president, I don't believe this part though.
