Title: Alice Helerath, with the LATEST Obituary

While I would say that her story ended a long time ago, she survived to witness the fall of Iakmes and the Total Victory of Ephia's Well. Alice then sadly met her fate just before rescue could arrive.

The character started out as a trashy reporter who wanted to make scandalous rumors and twist the narrative of events for profit. Alice definitely succeeded in that. As the days went on she became more invested in the politics and people of her new home, that she slowly faded away from her more rash earlier self. Maybe not someone you could truly call reliable since she would often not follow through on her deals and arrangements, but who is to say if that wasn't intentional?

Went on to announce several big events, tournaments, and lead some of the biggest campaigns for several legates throughout her career. In exchange she was heavily rewarded and got into the inner circle of several big name politicians. While there was always some suspicion and the PEOPLE disliked her methods, the results kept getting her additional work. The Latest, her own little bellows news program that the citizens of Ephia's Well enjoyed tuning in for, slowly became a well-funded propaganda machine, and lost that early innocence.

Some losses hit her harder than others over the course of her life, as what is a hedonist without a chef. The deaths of many of her former friends and colleagues ended up having the character isolated in her own world.

While she participated in several different groups and events that I feel may be best not to fully disclose, I'll see if I can truncate down a summary for this obituary in the future. For now though, I'll leave one comment - Alice never did get formally charged for brooking despite her involvement with djinn during the course of her life, so there's no need to feel like it's a death sentence! You liked her coat after all, didn't you?

Spell list for those who don't believe I didnt know Grease for reasons. She was an evoker after all!

The point of the build was to go for GSF Evocation with ice as her element and wholeheartedly stick to that theme, as it was how she managed to 'freeze her magic' into arrows. Plus if they cant run fast enough they'll have to listen to her monologue.

god, I tried to nail your brooking ass so many times but never could pull it off.

But I really liked Alice! She felt like she started as a somewhat goofy character that, as we often do, became embroiled in the setting and the plots and took on a life and liveliness of her own.

I don't get the chance to interact intimately with a lot of your characters, but even in passing, they're always a treat to be around and add something to the texture of the world that (often) we didn't realize was missing.

Sadly the stars didn't align, but that probably saved me from what was going to be some ten to twenty thousand dinar  in 'what the fuck Alice' fees that it was going to end up being.
