2. Vandalism: A person found guilty of destroying, attempting to destroy, or diminishing the value of property has committed Vandalism. Minor to Capital. Organizational property (such as uniforms) always belongs to the leader of that organization. The vandal shall pay a debt to the victim's next of kin, assessed and scheduled by a Magistrate, equal to the value of these damages, or be exiled from Ephia's Well.

3. Theft: A person found guilty of stealing or attempting to steal property that does not lawfully belong to them has committed Theft. Minor to Capital. 6. Treason: A person found guilty of undermining or attempting to undermine the government for any reason, thereby inviting anarchy and disorder, has committed Treason. Minor to Capital.
Minor: Lese-majeste. Acts of disrespect and defamation against the Sultan, his Legates, or their families. Indecorous behavior within the Chamber of Rule. Failing to abide dress code upon the Ecstatic Terrace.
Serious: Misprision. Poisoning the functions of state, through perjury, gross negligence, or similar malfeasance. Failing to report important information to the government of Ephia's Well. Blackmailing or otherwise threatening a civil servant. Impersonating an official.
Capital: Sedition. Inciting, engaging in, or conspiring to advance rebellion against the Sultan or his Legates. Materially endangering the continued existence of Ephia's Well. Consorting with Qaim, the Siblant Empire, the Thousand Clans, or similar enemies of Ephia's Well.
7. Desecration: A person found guilty of attempting to dishonor or animate the dead has committed Desecration. Minor to Capital. The graverobber shall pay a debt to the victim's next of kin, assessed and scheduled by a Magistrate, equal to the value of these damages, or be exiled from Ephia's Well.
Minor: Defacing a Voiceless person's grave. Looting a Voiceless person's corpse. Possessing the bones or flesh of humanoids.
Serious: Defacing a Voiced citizen's grave. Looting a Voiced citizen's corpse. Possessing objects that may reanimate the dead.
Capital: Reanimating corpses. Summoning, binding, or otherwise defiling the souls of the dead.
8. Trespassing: A person found guilty of entering a private area without the permission of its lawfully recognized owner has committed Trespassing. Minor to Serious.
Minor: Entering the area.
Serious: Entering the area with intent to commit a crime other than Trespassing.
9. Slavery: A person found guilty of compelling a person to labor against their will, for any reason other than the lawful punishment of a crime, or of otherwise trafficking a person as chattel, has committed Slavery. Capital.
Capital: Enslaving any person. Owning a slave.
10. Unauthorized Broadcast: A person found guilty of hijacking official channels for an illegal sending has committed Unauthorized Broadcast. Minor.
Minor: Making use of any sending station unsupported by a Scribe of the Sublime Garden.
11. Endangerment: A person found guilty of brandishing, displaying, or otherwise wielding weapons capable of harming another within the public areas of Ephia's Well, for any reason other than to repel an immediate threat, has committed Endangerment. Minor to Serious.
Minor: Common weapons, such as swords and bows. Dangerous or exotic beasts. Creatures summoned by magic.
Serious: Egregious weapons, such as catapults and cannons. Explosive or hazardous materials. Deadly traps.
12. Brooking: A person found guilty of trafficking with otherworldly fiends, monstrosities, or horrors, such as the djinn, has committed the crime of Brooking. Minor to Capital.
Minor: Speaking or writing the names of these beings. Sharing information about these beings. Seeking information about these beings.
Serious: Negotiating with these beings. Giving information to these beings. Possessing a profane artifact connected to these beings.
Capital: Summoning these beings. Entering into any kind of pact with these beings. Wearing, wielding, or otherwise using a profane artifact.
13. Smuggling: A person found guilty of violating the commercial regulations of Ephia's Well has committed Smuggling. Minor to Capital.
Minor: Using a merchant stall in Ephia's Well without a Trading License. Advertising for commercial shops and services without a Trading License.
Serious: Organizing auctions or operating caravans without a Trading License. Selling or distributing drugs, profane artifacts, and any other item prohibited under law.
Capital: Providing potions, wands, scrolls, or other magical trinkets to those exiled from Ephia's Well.
14. Machinism: A person found guilty of tinkering with advanced technologies has committed Machinism. Minor to Capital. Exemption to the Astronomers of Q'tolip, who may pursue Machinism as part of their state-sponsored research.
Minor: Handling strange technology without a Machinist License. Trafficking schematics and tinkering materials without a Machinist License.
Serious: Engaging in engineering projects without a Machinist License. Unleashing a monster or other disaster upon Ephia's Well through reckless endeavors.
Capital: Attempting to rediscover, imitate, or otherwise study the forbidden sciences of Vesim al-Pesh, including but not limited to the union of metal and flesh.
15. Alchemy: A person found guilty of experimenting with mystical processes has committed Alchemy. Minor to Capital. Exemption to the Astronomers of Q'tolip, who may pursue Alchemy as part of their state-sponsored research.
Minor: Brewing potions without an Alchemy License. Trafficking alchemical reagents without an Alchemy License.

21. Depravity: A person found guilty of serving or abetting occult evil has committed Depravity. Minor to Capital.
Minor: Speaking the name of the Wyrm. Carrying an object associated with the Wyrm.
Serious: Making offerings to the Wyrm. Praising, endorsing, or otherwise advocating for reverence of the Wyrm.
Capital: Accepting the Mark of the Wyrm. Accepting the Mark of Baharu. Willingly aiding those who bear these marks.
