So, for whatever reason, the forums keep chopping up my posts and deleting most of it. For example,

It usually happens when you write the post in Word or other document editing software like that and copy paste to forums, its tied to a special character, like " or ' which apparently is different than what the forum uses and it chops it off.
I write mine in notepad/notepad+ etc.
Seconded on the particular punctuation marks.
FWIW, I've noticed a huge uptick in this since the forum maintenance. I haven't had issues with quotation marks or apostrophes in particular (I also write in Notepad after many hard lessons learned), but em dashes do now cut my posts off whereas they didn't before.
