Mauricio Esparza's story was simple; once the son of a Lord in Amn his curiosity and restlessness always got the better of him. When a strange circus came to town, and he was chosen to enter a contest, he emerged... different. Erratic yet charming, purposeful and inspired.
Mauricio was my twist of a CE cleric of Ghaunadaur. He preached "Unity and Peace" Which in a way was true, Ghaunadaur doesn't recognise other faiths. So unity was a more PR friendly way of preaching his displeasure for the "false gods".
It was highly successful! I converted a total of three new PC's. Had some excellent interactions and accomplished a lot. See below for the screenies!
