Martulio Paub was create with the desire to see some Spellguard Presence brought back to EFU. At the time of his creation things were rather scarce and on the whole there was not a lot of overt activity. Not sure if it was due to RL issues or otherwise but the faction was sparse.
Auxiliary was down, SG was quiet in most matters, so I did as I could to step in and mix things up a little.
Paub was a very...conflicted PC.
[hide=tl;dr]A servant of the nobilty and a Siamorphan, once the apocalypse hit and Siamorphe died he found himself imbued with his sorcerous powers at the ripe age of early twenties. After descending into debaucherya s one would to survive he found himself contained and given redemption by a band of demon-hunters on the outskirts of Thay. Over time this Sorceror grew more into a psuedo-mage, a Warlock, with vast intellect and impressive charisma.
As his time continued he became able to harness his warlock powers with enchantments to sway the mind and conjurations of fierce devils.
On one hand he was a religious fanatic to his home-brewed ideals of a Cult that fell to the wayside. The extention of his surrogate Demon Hunters. My intention had been to create a PC faction in which I would be able to have demon hunters, alchemists, witch-hunters, and otherwise like the Numinous Order of Old. Sorcerors, wizards, and more as a feeder faction to the Spellguard while other PCs filtered to other factions in the attempt to create an illuminati-esque Cabal.
My intention had been to use the notion that with Civilization reduced to Sanctuary, the value of a human soul was vastly increased. Unfortunately due to his own personal code I never actually managed to sacrifice a PC in his entire career.
My intention had been to use the Spellguard to bring back some Old SChool fear tactics, marauding of lower, and doing as I could to utilize the authority given to stir the pot.- This one I accomplished a bit but most of the credit must go to Balfour for the awesome brutality.
My intentions had been to use the notion of licenses and otherwise to move things forward. Personally I felt that it took "too long" to get permission for licenses and otherwise so I used a lot of heavy handed approaches and manipulations.
His evil wasn't one of purposeful evil but more of the idea of evil. Survival had been pushed to the bring and through deals with infernal powers he could see himself and the Spellguard elevated to higher levels. The souls of criminals traded, sold, and delivered to infernal powers for tools of law, order, and tyranny.[/hide]
Of course like most of my PCs I can plan things great but the implementation never quite pans out as I had hoped.
He was a great PC and I'd like to thank everyone who was involved in his activities. From start to end he was able to make a lot of not-friends, a lot of enemies, and ultimately his actions caught up with him.

Early on, Paub killed a lot of criminals in lower, in a one man vigilante devil war on crime. Sadly never encountered too many PCs during this, or that I knew of

Evil-Creeping on Sigvar
<3 keep on rockin' EFU
I'm still terribly sorry about how everything went down.
Paub's looming shadow of terror will be missed.
It was a great time, RWG. Draggost will miss you =(
Paub... no :'(
Halcron will miss his friendo.
Great pc
Fantastic.
Fantastic character, what else can be said?
A rivalry that'll be missed :(
As I've said, sorry about the end =( I've had much more fun playing Tobit since Paub started mentally torturing him. I didn't know what I had until it was gone.... Aldric had better be one evil son of a bitch.
Awesome pc. Can't wait for the next!
Redacted. What a glorious asshole.
Abala's greatest enemy. You will be missed

Hahaha. Thanks! I Loved that so much. I figured reading out of a spellguard file in public trial would have some redaction.
You were [redacted], [redacted], [redacted]. So I hope you can understand why [redacted].

He was cool during the time I interacted with him IG. Good character, good plans as usual.
Got another concept brewing if you're interested Blasty.
That meme wouldn't exist if people didn't wait two months to hop on the pain train! <_<
The name always reminded me of this guy:
Paub'am The RaZoRbOaR (//%22http://www.efupw.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75675%22).
Even more so when I found it was RWG, though I unfortunately never got to meet warlock.
And of course, the best shot of the PC:

Was it two days ago that we were discussing ... me making a henchman for you, RWG?
More like six.
the FD train takes no prisoners.
.. Maybe I'll catch up on the next one before you get killed .. and prevent you from being killed, boss.
One of these days you'll have a character that doesn't rock socks off. I mean, statistically it has to happen.
