Since I've swapped to the EE I seem to have an issue with my GPU running overtime at 65%+ and at 88C or so. Seems odd for an old game. I had all the setting jacked up but turned off all anti-aliasing and shadows but no help. Drivers are up to date. Anyone experiencing anything like this too?
Nothing like that happening for me but I'm playing on a predator laptop with 32GB of Ram and that button to keep the fan on max if I need to.
I didn't notice resource usage but I noticed that when the advanced graphics boxes were all checked and everything was at "maximum" (in quotes because it's still not good graphically, because it's such an old game) my controls were lagging. Like literally, I would do anything ingame and it would have a delay of like .25-.5 seconds before something happened, and some controls didn't even work (specifically the camera zoom in/out controls).
Easiest just to leave the advanced graphics off. Who needs 'em?
Turned off most options and anti-aliasing. Seems to be running smooth now.
