Title: Druid Patrols
Post by: Primordial Circle on March 26, 2018, 06:57:31 PM
I feel that the limit on druid patrols should be lifted or increased by a large amount.  Now that Mycopolis is gone, if you die, you're pretty much in a tight spot.  The city has several ways to 'grind' up lost XP for hard time so I don't think it would be unbalanced.  Added to the fact druids are often restricted to spend most of their time in areas with little player travel that finding a questing group can be a challenge at times.

That or increase the amount of patrol areas, as in add more to the server and spread them out maybe making some much farther and harder to reach.

The server has quite a few patrols spread out already, at most I think one halfway up the Spire, another in the depths of the Dark Lake, last in the Caldera and then the whole module is essentially covered.

Covered as they may be most have caps on them though.

Losing mycop was a definite hit, though you could potentially swing it so going into the worm pits to destroy sanctuary's food supply, or investigate the sources of the corruption within for the quests, could be considered viable IC options for still grinding as a druid if you fall on hard times.
