Title: Shard Perion - The Story So Far
Post by: zDark Shadowz on November 09, 2016, 09:18:08 AM
Not quite giving up yet, but I am putting down these screenshots to remember the things I've done.

There should've been more, much more, but it seems a lot of them didn't save... ugh... had some very good ones too, witty bits of dialogue that'll remain unrelayed.

A lot of my favourite characters in this shot, from the Hero Scrapper Edward Velosia to the only person I seriously regret selling potions to... Guess which one the latter is in this picture.

Donning my Warder Robes for the first time, June 24th.. am I due for a medal for service yet? Lol

The death of Warder Atrac Nivero, his cremation overseen by Ilindra? Harper and whoever the other two forgettable people were. Seems the speeches given weren't saved in my screenshots though..

Alchemy, the art of finding systematic ways to put yourself in a hell of a lot of pain... AKA Another day in the office. Don't try this at home, you'll lose a spleen or something.

It was at this point I realised it didn't matter even if I had barely anything after venturing for ages, that itself was a story and gave more weight to what I did have going for me, and from here I stopped caring so much about being 'super equipped' for once.

The prelude to a sea of blood! Though I didn't expect mine to be mixed in with it later... those damn Mage Hunters!

Can you spot your character? The line for rewards... hahah....

When you start combining effects in Alchemy, you can achieve some unique results. This is one of the flashier ones. Not sure if it's actually any good though.

The latest setback. I'll get level 9 back... eventually... and stop my XP graph from looking like someone plummeted from a cliff into a series of sharp, jagged rocks.

Though in this case, where and when you crash really can't be helped. Odd, the Mage Hunters' attack just kept increasing...

Remind me to take more screenshots as we go along in future, and to push that Print Screen button at least three times... really missed a lot.

You can't post here before you're dead or retired! Outrageous.

The story is over. I'll try keep this short but I had a lot of fun playing Shard. Being alchemist, I was able to do so many things that helped augment roleplaying a wizard, making scrolls, storing away magic, recharging wands... it was a great and awesome experience. I kind of wanted to try start an Alchemists' Guild but I was too busy working out how it'd operate rather than actually starting it.

Seriously though, Alchemy is awesome, progression without relying on 'levels' can apparently keep you entertained for months.

Thanks everyone for making this character and my time here epic... but now I'm at a loss of what to do next. Haha. Take care everyone.

Total number of alchemy & herbal creations recorded: 255(ish, some recipes I didn't bother recording, and didn't want to keep recounting the notepad-saved list until I was sure of the exact number)

It was awesome interacting with Shard, in the little time we shared, and I regret having chosen to take the day off from EFU to study for my exam (especially considering how "well" that went..).

If you'd like to try something more vindictive next, shoot me a PM... ;)

It is sad to see Shard Perion dead and being the person to witness his final moments. Great character, great interaction, and a great friend to Bunwhal which he will miss his little alchemist buddy. Can't wait for your next character!

P.S. You never made those Stormshards

It's good you were so committed to alchemy I believe there's none other to rival you in that field. Nice to witness some of the things you can make in that system. My interactions with Shard were always pleasant and I enjoyed RPing with him on Griff Rheston. Have fun in your future endeavors.
