Clarence had simple, petty motivations. He was a man with a chip on his shoulder and a sense of self-importance that stemmed from his insecurities. More than any thing Clarence wanted attention and validation. He aspired to climb up the ranks of Sanctuary's political system and rub shoulders with Sanctuary's elite. While he managed to obtain the position of Prefect, his attempts to find acceptance within those circles were often times spurned
He was as much a lover of notoriety as he was praise. His most depraved actions usually sprung from him wanting to put himself at the center of things. He got into a number of brawls and scuffles. He accepted bribes and levied taxes and tolls. Ultimately it was this want to cultivate his infamy that led to his demise.
I'm just putting down screenshots. I think they're more or less in chronological order, but I won't make any guarantees. There are a few (really, really cool) developments I unfortunately can't note at this time. Maybe some time down the road.

Carlyle's motives and characterization led to a believable human being, which still managed to crack me up so hard at time I'd be laughing alone in front my computer screen. It is exceedingly difficult, I find, to marry comedy and tragedy. And you succeeded in doing just that.
His policies as a Prefect, his political schemes and machinations to accumulate ever more power and prestige created exactly the sort of stories for which, in my view, the Prefect system was designed. He enters the legend alongside Brent Kendall.
I generally don't write lengthy reviews in obituaries but I think you truly hit gold with this PC, I hope you manage to fill such big shoes on your PCs to come.
Outstanding character and always a blast to interact with. It's a shame to see him go right when our characters were finally having some meaningful drama after the weeks of passing jibes. I can't wait for the next character you pull out of that brain.
I didn't get to interact with the PC much but from observing his progress from afar easily seems to be the best KoP PC I have seen to date. Well done.
