If you participated in the event of Doom, please do me a favor and post:
- Your character's name
- The manner of death (if you died)
- A suitable IC epitaph if you died (i.e. something that would be put on a tombstone)
I hope no one minded the outrageous death and destruction. Congratulations to all who participated for being responsible for what can be fairly considered a true victory for the forces of the living on Ymph. :D
Beatrice Willowhearth.
Died to Evard's Black Tentacles and the Ice Storm
In the poetic words of the Kelemvorite character (I can't remember his name. Sorry!) that wrote the epitaph when Beatrice was assumed dead at the volcanic eruption:
"Daughter of the Forests - Back to where she belongs."
-Francois Crozier
-Killed by a Stonehand Elder
-"Seek always compromise."
Clara Smogson
Failed save vs. withered druid's slay living spell
"A simple village girl seeking the Crown."
Baron Ravenhill
Torn apart by Vein vines in the Ley lines
"A man buried with his rats"
Hanniah Reede
Died in the first of H'bala's Wail of the Banshee.
"Beloved Daughter of Mistlocke"
Slain by Horrid Wilting cast upon him simultaneously by 5 Hballan Gardeners as he charged ahead of the line to try to cut down what looked like the head mage.
I would ask his last words be put on his tombstone.

"SHYLAE! Can you hear us up there!?
WE ARE COMING FOR YOU!"
Slain in the final assault upon the Lich
Participated, but retreated after a very short while, all the way back to Old Stones, and thus lived (after which I logged off as instructed). Character was Stein Woodsman.
Though many others took the bullets for him while pinning down the masses,
smugly do I announce Durain Atek: safe and sound.
Trek Dias
Paladin of Kelemvor, Died during the Assault in the Leylines to foul negative magicks. (No idea really, spell was cast by the mini boss, and he was dead,PHK?)

"The Fates will find a way."

Vagreth last of the Tiger Tribe
Died fighting the undead druid Ar-Moegul Ymph, lost his footing to an earthquake spell and got torn apart by his sickle. Tucked into his belt are the totems of the Tiger, Frog and Scarab, his only friends whom died not long before him.
Not likely to have a tombstone being a stargazer.
Revomancer Graymantle.

"And so the last Revomancer fell."
Ivan Bullock.
Fell to withering magics.
"In his final service may he find Redemption"

Leto Talborough, Torm's Angel of Death.
Turned to undeath shortly after the defeat of H'bala and died trying to rescue her from the clutches of the living survivors.
"That thou wouldst bring them only death do even angels die and be reborn again in Torm's holy duty. "
Dambrowiel the Wood Elf
Died in the bogs to a Death Bloom while in a mad berserking rage.
"May she rest in the embrace of Relkath of the Infinite Branches"
Preston Whitewood, a servant of Tyr
Died while fighting the druid Ymph, his sickles striking harsh and true
"May Tyr continue to guide my soul, even in death."
Thrikki, Scarab Tribe.
Killed by a minotaur axe.
Hang my bones in the desert so that I may sing, as same as Vagreth it is unlikely he'd have a tombstone.
):
Chuck Minerson
Died instantly from full health to a deathbloom hitting me with an inflict.
He never came back for his rock.
Jabez, the Drowned Man- Died trying to hold the ley gate. Storm Protect Him in death, as it did in life.
On behalf of jzhmer:Your character's name
The manner of death (if you died)
- His life horribly wilted away as one of Shylae's pawn druids attempted to snuff the life out of of the frontliners, whose fallback blocked his retreat, and as a result caught between wilting death and red fog. He perished along with Mistson.
A suitable IC epitaph if you died (i.e. something that would be put on a tombstone)
Scribed in the elegant script of the elves are the following words in dedication, though not upon any place of burial, for the body of Belithrar was cremated by a close friend and given the final rites of passage into the great haven of the People in the West, carried thus upon the winds to Arvandor.
- He perished at the doorstep of Shylae the Maiden, betrayed by his trust of the Edanae.
- Blasted by a finger of death scroll just before the Noor destroyed H'bala's tower
- May the Morass gurgle the dirge of Whrugri..
Brumear Berenthur, paladin of Tyr.
Died in the Ley Lines as a horrid wilting scroll was cast upon them by a dead gardener.
Epitaph: "Holy crusader, may he now rest in Mount Celestia at Tyr's side".
- Bockrumbuppa Filliperutta, Guardian of the Stewards
- Hacked down by Ar-Moegul Ymph(spelling?)
- "May the meat be plenty in the afterlife."
- Jon Jones
- Died to H'Balas Horrid Wilting, just after the first Wail of the Banshee. The plans of tearing through the magical defenses of H'Bala ground to dust. At the least he managed to provide weapons that proved key in defeating the masses of her horde underway.
- "Resting in the House of Knowledge, may he finally find his Forge" (( or something like that... ))
Avery Gladstone

"And they will never know.."
Baltaire Magnolian
