I'm looking for players that would like to take part of the following concept:

Number of members of the warparty and classes

All classes are allowed, however, preferably fighters, clerics and some wizards or sorcerers. We can work on the exact composition of the warparty once we've got enough people on board.
Please, feel free to let me know if you would be interested. I think it could be a neat idea that'd bring life to a rather dying race of EFU.

I am not certain what to play at the moment, so perhaps me as well.
That would make four of us right now, if you three are into it.
I'd like to wait until the major event scheduled for next saturday has passed and the server's situation has settled down a bit.
We can however start planning what character's we'll be playing and fleshing out the concepts. I'm all for starting to work on this as soon as you guys want so that we can bring forth the elven glory to the server as soon as possible :D Do all of you use IRC? I think that'd be the best way in which we can chat and coordinate.

No, still no IRC channel has been set up yet. I personally don't know how to set up a channel in Darkmyst, so if one of you would be so kind as to do it, that'd be grand! :D
Also, with you we'd already be five people interested in this concept. Things are looking good :)

Echigo and Necropolis V, don't worry about joining us at a later time. Let me clear out this matter:
The whole concept is based on an elven war party that chased after a bunch of drow raiders and after a succesful hunt retrieved the relic that had been stolen from their temple.
The war band was consisted of about 25 elves, whose ship wrecked on their way back to Evermeet. The players who create a PC, be it 4, 5 or 6 players, will assume the role of the surviving members of the war ban, assuming that the rest of their companions are dead since they didn't reach the safety of Ymph's shore and are missing (no bodies to be found though).
However, this very background allows others who are interested in the concept to later on create an elven PC and play it out as if they were part of the company, RPing that they're one of the other elves who were missing and that has just found their way to Ymph since the wrecking. Of course not much time should go by until they show up. It's not beleivable for more surviving elves to appear after, say, a month's time since the initial survivors step into the server.
Oh yes, and this is for everyone interested. No RPing as the leader of the war party, he's the only elf that's died during the ship wreck. The reason behind this being that he'd have to be more powerful than a standard PC (and would require an application), because he was a rather old and experienced Eladrim. In any case, I don't want to flood the thread with more posts about the group's lore or more detailed background.
If any of you know how to do it, please create an IRC channel so we can discuss the character concepts (or not, if you've got yours already figured out you'd simply introduce it to us, like I'll be doing).

Like I said, I have already created my character. He's in the OOC area, waiting to enter the gameworld.
I was hoping to set up a date so that we can all start our elven adventures at the same time.
The people that are for now taking part in this are: Mia, Automne, Mentau, Domare, you and I. So that makes a glorious number of six elves that soon shall be prancing about the place. We should coordiante through PMs or our #efuelvenwarparty channel to start playing as soon as posible :)
And me! I made my character yesterday as I just couldn't wait to check out
Old Port. Was just online for an hour poking around, but never the less.

The "lets make a bunch of elves who arrive from Evermeet" all at once never really took off, but, we have a real Warband in game elfing it up at this point!

Can't beleive the whole "group of elves" finally took off, even if not the original concept. If/when my main PC dies I may jump in on the wagon.
My Elf died in Old Port, and now I got a gobbo. When he passes on though, I might take on making another pointy ears!
