Once said to be the apple of Grand Larson Burkden's eye, Fransisco de Olid took far more pride in Larceny than the Larson's approval. One of the earliest stygian soldiers to rise to fame he had a number of cronies who indulged in highwayman pursuits across the Ymphian wilderness.

Though the exact cause is unsure, his demise was had in a horrific but splendid duel with then governor Ortred. A prominent banite ruler it is easily likely to say that there was a match of egos over command of the then delapidated colony. Intrigue, betrayal, chaos, conflict, and more were put on display in the single crossing of blades atop the Ziggurat that no doubt put sheer emphasis on the decaying rule of House Sharboneth. Ruler and Military Force at odds, long before the Sabuthan's purchased the colony from House Sharboneth.[/b][/hide]

Long has it been said and known that the Stargazers of the Eyrie dwelt in harmony with the fiercest winged creatures to ever take to the skies. Utilizing these pipes the Gazer or their few allies of nature are capable to take flight and soar across the now withered landscape without worry.

To and fro their Eyrie hideaway, across various sites, or even in massive battle have these fierce creatures been known to soar in the wake of the Stargazer Tribes. The Eagle Tribe itself long said to have first made offering to the eagles and brooked favor for all of their kind, for all eternity.

Woe upon the fool who plays these pipes errantly, for a giant eagle may not be so pleased to see one who isn't a gazer. There is but singular wrath for one who raises an eagle's expectations so high to see an old friend...only to let them down[/b][/hide]

One of the most famed Magi of the Netherese Empire, Porenius Herasus' "Animations of Po" have been highly sought after my wizards since Karsus' folly. Some claim his works were instrumental in the nightriser's reign, others expound that it is dark and enshadowed magics that warp the wielder, but their hunting has ever been on the minds of many Magi.

This particular piece was pulled from the depths of Nebezzdos' ruins, in pristine condition depicting the Netherese Magi in his human form. To put a face to such a vaunted Magi is quite the pleasant accomplishment indeed. If the man still yet lives or not is an entirely other inquiry. Did he paint this himself? Did he contract a netherese bard? One may never know[/b][/hide]

[hide=The Apple of Eternity]A potent and at times all times considered despicable narcotic by the name "Ambrosia", the Apple of Eternity is a foul withered fruit that bestows upon the user a number of potentially pleasing effects. The downside of course is it increases the withering curse, one cough's up green smoke, and worms occasionally crawl from oraphice.

Recently reaching the Hamlet of Mistlocke it is said to have been first to victimize a young Aberdenn girl though the stories surrounding it are numerous and varied. It can be said with certainty though that there is a clear link between its presence, the increased proclamations of "Heralds" of the Maiden dwelling amongst Mistlocke, and the events of Flamerule 29th that spread mass panic and fervor as the town's water supply was poisoned resulting in a number of gruesome undead afflictions.[/b][/hide]

[hide=Broland's War Horn of the Old Dominion]
Long has Ymph been known to have many rulers, but none can be said to have achieved more or been more conflictual than King Antoine Trenada, former Commandant of the Stygian Armada Mercenaries. For years did his reign hold Nebezzdos in service of the Count- First in service to Sharboneth as a military force, then outright named Reagent for his duties to the Count of Old Port, before ultimately rebelling before the second shrouding.

This Warn Horn, delivered by the Sanatorium to the Exhibit, was wielded by the bold and militant Legionnaire Broland. An equally polarizing figure as his King, Broland was a fierce combatant who many claimed one of the fiercest mercenaries to grace Ymph's shores since the shroud raised. His exploits were known by many in the year 1382 and for ample time one could not walk the town without hearing some manner or shape of his combative prowess.

Meeting his end prior to the 10th Lord Mayor's inaugeration, Broland grew at odds with Lord Mayor the Nineth, when he cast aside the Legion's banner and took up service to the Sanatorium of the Old Stones. There he persisted until he was slain in a duel by Gadyw Aberdenn.[/b][/hide]

Carved by the Clan of Aberdnenn, this relic sits as a testament to living history of Mitlocke. Wielded by Marius Brandt at the time of his already infamous heist it is a Mistlockan treasure of mundane and humble origin, much as the man who wielded it.

On Flamerul 26th, 1382 Aberdenn Bannersman Marius Brandt stood solely accused of the theft of 40,000 from the coffers of the Shrine of Mystryl. Some claim it was orchestrated by the Caermyn to drive a wedge between otherwise prominent Aberdenn supporters. Others as revenge for the stillbirths, though no answer has ever been given by the man who belongs to this Ymphian relic. In a daring daylight robbery with a number of cohorts, Aberdenn Bannersman Marius Brandt took sole blame for the activity much to the outrage of many. Outrage spread further when his sentance was a simple bloodletting in the woodlands rather than traditional exile or execution.

Footnote: The Key itself sits as a totem of sworn oath as instituted by Cameron "Bullbreaker" Falltower, the 10th Lord Mayor of Mistlocke. Citizens were required to adhere to an oath naming Aberdenn the founding family to be granted rights of ciitzen which became an incandescent catalyst for ample strife in Mistlocke.[/b][/hide][/hide]

Bottle of Gotek Ichor: Preserved and saved from the dreaded betentacled consort of the renegade Zeulisad "Squidima", this bottle contains blood of a true abberation morphed from a man. With fierce tentacles upon each hand did the Consort Gotek tear through many of the Old Dominion and with his bloodbound Magi the two created some of the fiercest abberations Ymph has ever known. Perhaps even, should a conjurer feel so brazen, their paths he could walk with such a sample?

Auld Aberdenn Bagpipes: Emblazoned with the stag symbol of Clan Aberdenn, these Bagpipes are a bardic relic by even Mistlock's standards. Dusty and steadfast like the truest of the Clan, it proves that age matters little when one can be resolute by sheer stubborness and tenacity. A quiet strength that comes from such, do these pipes symbolize.

Broken Hellslayer: A rare and shattered paladinical blade from a Crusade of the Ironmind of Cala, this vicious blade has carved through the lower planes presumably for centuries. Shattered no doubt by a cloven hoof to prevent anymore of its cohorting demonspawn executed by the furious wrath

The Skull of Grunk: A disguisting and primal affair, this horrific artifact is modeled for one half orc to wear the skull of another, brutally slain in tribal conflict. As a result it sits well upon an Orcblood's elongated crown and provides a number of tribal magics no doubt gained through dark and menacing ritual to Gruumsh

Grey Mist Raider Armor: When the drums blare in the mists the mother's cling tight to their children as the father lifts his swords, for it means singular omen: The Mist Raider comes. Plaguing Ymph for as long as any can remember this helm was stripped from a raider in a recent Flamerule 28th raid on Mistlocke.

: The workings of Porenius Herasus, a previously highlighted relic is his portrait.

Splendid Saber Tiger Pelt: Carved by the hands of an expert Aberdenn Huntsman, this pelt sits as a sweeping sign of the Clan's hunting talents. With extreme detail on severing the animal's hide with reverent care this piece could be used to make a fine carpet, gloves, cloak, or whatever the mind could fathom.

Sylvan Dryroot: Early into the end of the great shrouding it was discovered that Dryroot plants when cut and treated properly could produce a potential barrier to the Withering curse. It would not halt the process but it slowed it considerably resulting in a mad dash for profit to grow, harvest, and proliferate these roots by the Clan of Caermyn. The full extent of it's worth or hazard is yet unknown

Check: A Bastard Sword styled after the blade of the Stygian Infantryman Trannyth, Check is an impressive blade, and despite being a counterfeit it is somewhat of merit for whom it was delivered by. The Red Knight and aptly named "Orc Reaver", Caius Victus, brought this to the Curio Shop but the day of his death when it was discovered he served the Maiden H'bala and his house crumbled.

Transcendant Conclave Key: With the detonation of the Conclave a number of archaeologists have endeavored to bring the treasures of the Empire back to Mistlocke. However at risk of great personal harm, this key was reclaimed by Eck Loomingtide from the desert wastes as his first piece of his display, a more symbolic than financial victory for the young treasure hunting Archaeologist

Transcendant Conclave Heavy Armor: Pulled from the steaming wreckage of the Desert Ruins, this armor represents the lengths to which the Conclave ascended before it's untimely collapse. A variety of soldiers, mercenaries, and opportunists took up this plate or similar to it as "Consort", to create one of the most formidable standing armies in recent Ymphian past, backed by pure arcane force.

Self Portrait of Jacqueline Dulcimer: A grotesque and enlightening piece, and one of the Mist End Gem's first works, this portrait reflects the duality of each of us as we succumb to the withering curse of H'bala. A former Ill Companion and one of the earliest aides of Master Merchant Ranse Sharboneth, she has spent most of her time as a performer and hostess of the Mist's End Tavern and gained great fame while working on Twinkletoes' Campaign to be the 10th Mayor of Mistlocke.

The Caermyn Coin: Instituted by the Clan of Caermyn in blatant defiance of having to make the oath of naming D. Aberdenn as founder of Mistlocke, the Caermyn Coin represented a changing time in Mistlocke history. For the first time in a turn's age the Clans were pushed to the very brink- Daily fights in the street, regular conflict with sharpened weapons, and a vast division of the Hamlet...Some with keys, some with coins, all swirling one another in a tumultuous time

The Evil Muffin: A muffin...OF EVIL!

Tainted Netherese Finery: A ruined set of once fabulous netherese attire, these robes have been ruined by shadow ichor and other countless harms through out the ages since the original Empire's decline. Often though it is utilized by those who once served the Conclave or find themselves finding purpose in the old magics they hold

The Crow Mascot Costume, Matching Helm: These two items worn in conjunction were created by the famed tailor Leslee of Mistlocke. Many claim they are blatant attempts to spurn on the conflict of the region in the month of Flamerule but others find them tasteful masquerade and of high quality.

The Stag Mascot Costume, Matching helm: The complement to the crow piece, this is another series of items created byt the famed tailro Leslee of Mistlocke. Furthering the claim that they are blatant attempts to spurn conflict, one could easily see a performer using either of these pieces in an overly dramaticized boxing match in Mistlocke square to show the artistic and gripping drama that is the cland feud

Conclave File: Zul'jiin Naganga: Transcripts and uncovered clippings from the conclave's records, this piece depicts the Conclave's attempts to monitor, understand, and evaluate all magi of Ymph as renegade or otherwise. It appears that while many were under the threat of the collar, those powerful enough or perhaps complicit could evade the Conclave's forces by serving some use.

The Declaration of the Laughing Skulls: A human skull with a salty piece of parchment within it, decrying a message from King Drystan Caermyn to the populace of Mistlocke. Many claim he is a false-claimant to the Isle seeking himself the Crown of the Isle, though few know the truth of the matter as he was exiled after maiming his brother

Citizenship Papers of Mistlocke: For as long as most can remember the process of proving one as a citizen of Mistlocke came in the form of signed and stamped papers by Secratary Nettlehatch of the Mayor's Office. As the Caermyn instituted a fee higher and higher for these papers, at times forgeries were found when cunning criminals took effort to stir cheap coin. This represents an old age of Mistlocke, prior to the conflict of the clans in the month of Flamerule, 1382

Chultan Monographical Trout: Covered in a series of vastly different magical runes, this rotted fish was discovered high in the peaks of Ymph in the wake of a massive battle with the Maiden H'bala. While many such relics surfaced over the years, this in particular was gifted from a witch to a humble archaeologist to aid in his craft, now on display for all to see

Writhing Bones: Such black magic infuses these bones that they themselves turn to writhe and slither, and some fear even wither in the continued pursuit of magical powers at the cost of decency. If one looks close enough you can see the bones themselves still move...

Powdered Hook Horror: From the depths of the underdark this filthy resident of the Exhibit is powdered hook-horror. It's mysteries unknown to all but a few but it shows the exotic and the profane that lurk beneath our feat. Secrets lurking in every corner of Ymph, this just one of many.

Ancient Totem of Truth: Clutched from an ancient Netherese Tomb in the mountains, this relic sits as a prime example of the bounty of Ymph that awaits those daring enough to take from it. For the greatest of truths may only be found in the dangerous of the world, and this totem sits as constant reminder of that fact.

Brushes of Ivyslar: Said to be the brushes of the great seeker Hero of Ymph's insidious underdark. However whomever says such is a liar as these are simple brushes labled as forgery. Regardless it presents a curious glimpse into the lengths men go to remember and preserve Ymph's history.

Greasy Fork of Poppers: Used once by a notorious criminal mastermind with a legion of beggars and urchin thieves. The former owner, Poppers is said to have lived on Ymph for as long as any settler can remember. Formerly housed amongst the "Gobsquat" of Old Nebezzdos he is said to have even more suspicious origins throughout the land.

Eyeless Deepsea Fish: A fine example of taxidermist work in which a catch from the very depths of the deepest ocean of Ymph was captured. Undoubtedly the fisherman who captured such told his friends it was thrice as large as it was, with flaming tentacles, shooting lasers from it's teeth. Sadly the Taxadermist in question was unable to save such exotic parts

Xigiator Orders: The "Flamekeepers of Netheril", the Xigiator were the militant and combative arm of the New Netherese Empire headed by the Thayvian Thrask Morv. These orders were given near the end of the Empire's reign as the Maiden H'bala broke through the unyielding pass and began her march upon the Desert. Her creeping plants to this day still expanding forward without the fires to halt it.

Netherese Rune stone: Said by many to be the foundations of the Transcendant Conclave, these rune stones hold unwieldy and suspected massive amounts of Arcane energy awaiting to be tapped by a cunning arcanist. Clutched from the Sunken Enclave by Eck's Cavation Company after severing through a horde of Nightrisers, it sits as a relic both of the recent and the far past. One can't help but wonder which power it shall unlock next upon Ymph

Corrupted Ley Keystone: Said to be wielded by H'balan Cultists, these carved stones are said to have innumerous powers wielded by the Maiden H'bala and her followers as they pursue domination of the island of Ymph. The full extent of its secrets are unknown but many who battle the Maiden have seen this relic time and again

Netherese Coat: Made out of a particularly hard chitinous substance this Coat sits as a curious relic of the Netherese. Believed to be wielded by Magi and Archaeologist alike it provides ample magics and pockets for digging and potential aids in translations into the Netherese script.

Ancient Untranslated Scrolls: Who knows? A Netherese Cookbook? A love-letter? Such relics represent a great and wonderful mystery of a bygone Empire, that even Tezzeret himself perhaps could have translated had he not been detonated in his ritual to return Mystryl. Perhaps it was scrolls such as these that lead him to such heights? One day perhaps a young archaeologist shall learn the truth.

Acolyte's Notebook: A Glimpse into the curse of the Mistlockan Graveyard, it presents an interesting read though no answer has yet to be readily discovered in halting the constant flow of the damned that lurk from it's depths, ever and slowly marching, marching, marching...

Excavation Contract: An ancient contract for excavation into the mountains, reflecting that ever has man gazed upon mountains and wondered what awaited them.

The Fell Armor of House Victus: A cruel and menacing mercenary's plate, once worn by Lord Victus himself it is said. Ripped from their corrupted shrine by an Aberdenn Raid in pursuit of any clues to protect the village, this piece is a staunch reminder of the terror that walks amongst us, seeking to claim us one and all.

Unholy Symbol of H'bala: This wretched and twisted frame sits as a gruesome totemic amulet of one subservient to the maiden, clutched from the body of a once powerful priest who succumbed to her wishes and whims. It shows that even the gods themselves cannot protect their followers from her machinations, which is a terrible thought indeed.

Early in the morning, "Transcendant Conclave Heavy Armor" is added to the collection amongst the glass case in the curio shop

Later in the afternoon a "Self-Portrait of Jacqueline Dulcimer" can be found upon the top shelf of the relic case. The bottom shelf is filled with more mundane but none the less interesting curios. "Powdered Hook Horror" in a glass jar amongst them

Late in the night a new HIGHLIGHTED PIECE is declared, "Broland's War Horn of the Old Dominion" sitting prominently displayed on the top shelf of the exhibit. A "Carved Netherese Runestone", a "Corrupt Ley Keystone", "Xigiator Orders" and a sprig of "Sylvan Dryroot" join it upon the top shelf.

Other curious relics of Netherese nature likewise make their way to the lesser shelves: A netherese coat, ancient and untranslated scrolls, Acolyte's Notebook, a Curious Libram, and more

A number of relics are moved to retired status, removed from the glass cabinet for destinations unknown

"The Apple of Eternity" is named the newest highlighted relic of the Curio Shop Exhibit

"Westgate Treasure Map", "Unholy Symbol of H'bala", "Check", and "Preserved Ape Hand" are all added to the top shelf. "Aberdenn Mascot Costume" and "Conclave File: Zul'jiin Naganga" are added to the lower shelves...

"Portrait of Porenius Herasus" is named the new highlighted item, with "Grey Mist Raider Helm" and "Splendid Saber Tiger Pelt" nestled beside it upon the top shelf as the newest entry. Upon the lower shelves a ruined and ancient Excavation Contract is left on display[/i]

"The Skull of Grunk", is raised upon the top shelf of the collection with "The Fell Armor of House Victus" and "Grey Mist Raider Armor" raised upon the display for all to see. A few of the lesser curios are removed and moved into retirement, thel list adjusted

"Auld Aberdenn Bagpipes" sit newly dusty upon the Top-shelf, accompanied by a dull glowing and holy thrumming "Broken Hellslayer". Upon the lower shelves a number of relics have been put into retirement, vanishing from the glass Exhibit case.

To much fanfare, the "Pan Pipes of the Great Eagle" can be found raised as the highlighted item, unseating a portrait of Porenius Herasus. Equally a macabre bottle of Abberant blood labled "Bottle of Gotek Ichor" takes residence upon the top shelf

A number of relics are moved to retirement, "Tainted Netherese Finery" is added to the lower shelves

Blade of the notorious Stygian bandit "Blade of de Olid" sits as the new highlighted item, with a particularly malicious smelling "Evil muffin" on display upon the lower shelves
