Inevitably through the conflicts of the Isle, when it comes to battle, there shall be a last man standing amidst glory and battle, hacking back at the clammering foes as they seek to bring him low. This man fights with all he has and spares no expense in the desperate bid for survival.
Level 1: Survivor Perk (15% increase chance to passing a bleeding check)
Level 5: Everytime a PC dies in the vicinity, you gain a temporary +2 con to your status sheet. This stacks with every PC dying.
Level 8: You can gain the Player Tool "Last Man Standing", you must be the only PC within a certain Radius, using this tool, you can +4 to strength, constitution, +2 AB, saves, and AC. As well as 10% concealment. This will last 2 turns.
The perk is to promote a survivalists mentality, and is meant for warriors who do whatever it takes to stand alone or survive a desperate fight.
Bringing back the survivor perk would be awesome.
For the level 5 part, I would suggest limiting it to non-hostile PCs (i.e. you gain bonuses when your allies are killed). That way, you don't end up gaining perpetual momentum as you mow down your enemies.
All of those bonuses for the level 8 part seems a tad much.
Yea, I'll tone it down a bit. <.<
Level 8: +4 to constitution, +2 to Dodge AC, Saves, and AB. 10% concealment.
I like this concept, it's strong.
How about an activatable 1/day ability that gives you +10 Temp. HP/level until you're out of combat, at which point you drop to 0 HP? Very "last stand"-ish.
Combat, as you know, ends when you're no longer attacking or being hit. You can tell when that happens if, in the upper right corner of the screen, the Rest icon (a closed eye with lashes) can be clicked. Basically, it takes 6 seconds after fighting actually stops. The idea would be that you can fight on for longer at the expense of losing your strength by the end of it.
Way too strong!
Make death to not be subdual but FD and you have yourself something feasible.
Seems too strong, but even besides that, the concept of getting stronger as PC's dies seems to favor more of someone who's killing said PC's rather than some kind of last man standing effect of being the last of your allies still standing at the end of a bloody fight.
And the effect of such seems a bit narrow in use/concept, rather it would likely only see use by PVP focused PC's and little else.
If you toned it down, went away from the getting stronger as PC's die effects, and then went with a minor survivability boost the lower you go into your HP (measured in %) it might be more feasible.
Level 1: Survivor Perk
Level 5: For every 20 points of HP lost, you gain +1 AC, and 5% movement increase bonus
Level 8: You gain the "Last Stand" Ability similar to a level 5 Knight

Level 8: You gain the Toughness Feat
