One thing i noticed was that there were only three types of g-swords on EFU:A that I have seen! I would think it would be better to have more of them.... this also includes some of the less used weapons around.
Greatswords are used often.
There are enough as it stands, if anything, I could name several weapons that could use some help.
Daggers.
Shortswords.
Small hammers
Daggers. You can never have enough daggers.
There are several kinds of greatswords, and they are pretty nice as it is. Really nice ones should be rare.
Let the "lesser" weapons get cooler and varied versions.
I don't think it hurts to add balanced item variety regardless of the weapon type. If, however, I could only have one sort of weapon made more varied, I would probably end up moving in a different direction.
Likely the best solution as far as everyone would be concerned is to post up balanced weapon suggests that sort of reflect current QAs and setting themes in the loot thread. This gives the DM team some good ideas so all they would have to do is the grunt work, in the end.
Daggers and shortswords?
Loads of good daggers around.
The +acid damage one, the Trap Tools, that +1AC Deflection one...
Some pretty sweet shortswords too, but just none I've seen with any straight-up damage bonuses like several daggers.
I can think of 4 greatswords off the top of my head, one of which comes with a generic +1Deflection AC, and another one that casts 3rd circle damage spells.
On the other hand:
Heavy crossbow. Of which there is *one* drop. And it is *crap*
Mighty +1, -2DEX? Woo.
Dwarven Waraxe. I have never seen a loot version drop anywhere.
Honorable Dwarven Waraxe, Egon. a 1d10 +2 dis +2 concentration dwarf only and 1d4 extra damage on the crit I believe.

1. I love my ginormous ballista like heavy bow. Throw down some cat's grace and you are good to go.
2.How many dwarves regularly inhabit tropical isles to make this a reality?
To close I'd move that there should be even fewer European-style weapons and more "exotic", seafaring type pieces - or more made from local materials as opposed to metals (cutlasses, spears, daggers, belaying pins, clubs, tridents, and the like). Now, I know in theory that there are plenty of these around already, but the vast majority of players are resorting to their standard weapons loadout based on a European-themed standard campaign.
I want KATANAS!
No Katana's
Ever
Again
Clubs would be cool if there were more. Clubs are awesome :D
Why the vendetta against katanas Thomas?
I think we should get back to the concept of the server ... chars are "lost" ... the city/colony/empire/town tries to stand against enemies and to expand it's resources ...
I play chars that could use Greatswords too and yes I miss axe like Lucky Axe ... but that is not the point ... maybe if you travel far or if you find a hidden mine and secure and claim it somehow that you could RP a good use of the resources you could find your desired weapon or have it crafted by someone.
