Title: Mayor's muster Bards/Clerics/Mages/Monks etc
Post by: Egon the Monkey on September 15, 2011, 10:03:59 PM
We've got decent interest in the Muster, but very less from certain classes. I thought I'd give a shout out to the fact that the Mayor's Muster isn't the Watch or Stygians, we take any class. Yes, you can be a Sorcerer. Yes, you can be a bard. Yes, you can be a Monk. The only requirements are to uphold the law and defend Mistlocke.

Yeah, I recommend people join the Village Muster.  The Muster, at the end of the day, is just a rag-tag volunteer militia.  They're ordinary citizens (or in the case of most PC's citizen-adventurers), who've taken a pledge to defend Mistlocke against outside aggression, uphold the laws of the village, and serve at the pleasure of the Mayor.

Like all associations, they are what you make of them.  They shouldn't be viewed like the Watch from Sanctuary or the Stygian Armada from the Colony.  They're much, much, MUCH more open to personal interpretation and character concepts.
