I don't know if it's possible, but if Lesser Spell Breach could be changed to counterspell anything of L4 down, I think it would be a neat addition. It'd give any mage or Spells cleric a way to counterspell the traditional L4 gankspells like Hammer of the Gods/Tentacles/Ice Storm. Counterspelling's not used much in part because it won't stop the big guns unless your PC prepared them too but it's a flavourful trick for an abjurer.
