The Shrouded Society is recruiting. Effectively it is meant to be an aggressive form of the "Dreamers", with Mist worship, sacrifice, fear, suffering, and all those good things that show up when you play in the Mist.
The Mist has many powers and countless secrets. The core agenda of this faction can be seen as rather bland in a sense due to it being to "learn about the Mist", yet due to the way in which the Mist acts / speaks / reveals things on Ymph it is actually rather interesting and typically evil to go along with it.
I am hesitant to release too much information, but faction members can expect the following things -
- A deeper search into the Mist than typical. You may notice it's leadership dropping subtle hints towards divine presence within.
- Lore heavy AND conflict heavy plots. There are countless writings, lore checks, and of course enemies to deal with in this faction.
- Deception, trickery, betrayal, lies, and more. One of the ideals of this faction is that truth is a weakness and only the deserving should share in it.
