Title: Lycanthrope Bug
Post by: Jaws That Thirst on June 15, 2011, 04:11:55 AM
I believe somehow in the transition to the new module, some problems have arisen with lycanthropes. The most notable one being my werewolf attacks as 'Unarmed' instead of the creature weapon, which spawns in his inventory but doesn't seem to be able to be equipped either by the script, or manually.

This problem seemingly fixed itself during the last two days, with my claws becoming 1-10 and benefiting from the +1 attack bonues and WF: Creature Attack feat.

Then, today, they randomly reset to Unarmed. Trying to play a werewolf with 1-3 damage and -2 AB is extremely debilitating/frustrating!

EDIT: For reference, I've tried reloading, changing areas, and shifting forms back to human then back to hybrid.

Nevermind, about 20 mins after I logged on, they begun working again...

Very odd.

Animal form bugs the claws quite often, among the other randomness that your bonuses are working anyway. I had to literally shift forms 20-30 times in a row and alternate between the three forms to get them to work sometimes. Sadly it fills your pack with creature claws and bites and force you to relog.

Lastly, logging in out seems to be very buggy if you do it outside of Human form. Same goes for resting outside of Human form.

Completely bugged again. 1d3 damage with -2 AB, making my PC absolutely unplayable.

Ok, You must be IMMOBILE while shifting. The shifting can take several seconds. You mustn't move during this time or else it might not equip. If it doesn't equip, it means you didn't stay immobile long enough.

If the bug happens, try quickslotting the claws, then clicking on it in the quickslot, it should equip them.

Otherwise I will take a look to see if this can be fixed, but I HIGHLY doubt it.
