I appreciate the fact that almost the entire underdark crew was made from people form almost every walk of life. Very cool stuff. I wish I had more time to play with Rus, but timing is what it is.

Edit:; What head override are you using?

Wish I had the opportunity to interact with him more, other than that last little skirmish towards the end of his career.

Fun character, even if Haroth only heard about most of his deeds.

For all my IC mockery of Rus's prophecy, I still felt he was awesome. Ironically enough the best moment I had with him was on Reese, my soon-to-be Templar, who gave Rus an Umberlant helmet because she felt that it would be more proper for a worshipper of Umberlee to hold it. Rus almost thanked her but caught himself in time and gave Reese a brusque nod instead -- that's the sort of little RP detail I love! ^^

Hm, I just realized the text isn't actually readable...ugh.

When I'm not feeling as lazy as I am now I'll edit the first post.

Dagmer Rus was an exceptionally uncompromising and consistent character, not just in his personality but the PC as a concept in itself, both in theory and in practice, and also in terms of quality. I mean that as the highest praise.

His interactions with Sicily always constituted excellent RP, and were far from harmonious or simple.

I'm not a prolific screenshooter, but I happened to have the uncharacteristic presence of mind to shoot perhaps my favourite exchange between the two of them: the Drowning of Sicily.

The Drowning is an important Umberlant ritual, when an Untaken (a novice priest) is formally inducted into the clergy. In order to complete the ritual, the initiate must survive a brutal test; hence the name.

When she had finally garnered enough (grudging) respect from him, and gathered the courage to ask her new father-figure to initiate her, Sicily bade Rus perform her Drowning, an event of pivotal importance in her life and one that would come to dominate her destiny thereafter -- and spell doom for many others.

Crazy drowning action (and hot naked teen) here. (//%22http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm309/hyperborgia/44e66c37.jpg%22)

Right up until Haroth nearly cleaved him in half *grins* Awesome final battle, though Trouble didn't get to do much besides knock out a nameless accomplice.

Haha, nice...never actually got a chance to read the combat log. Whodunnit?

On a side note, I only recall seeing a few summoned sparklers, an animated chest, and Haroth fighting him.
