I am uncertain if BigX plans on making a screenshot thread to honor one of Ymph's oldest PCs, but Dorin Helmsplitter was given a sendoff after falling in battle. We recovered his body and took it to the Holdfast, where the following scene occured.
Kudos, BigX, Dorin was a great PC. Great job also to Teli Freeborn, Dorin's old pal who hasn't gotten quite the recognition for being the awesome brewer that he was. :)

BigX is a grizzled veteran. Most of his PCs don't normally take the spot light but when they do, spectacular things happen:
(Hu'ruuks bear quest and Dorin whenever he is up and kicking. I remember him dealing crit upon crit to the giants)

The few times I met him, he rocked so hard every time. He could completely steal a scene just by standing still and looking badass. This is what Sean Connery would be if he were a dwarf.

I appreciate all the love folks. Dorin had a fantastic run and was able to be a part of two great incarnations of dwarven factions based at the hold.
I originally made Dorin because my female dwarf Fifi Bloodaxe was turned down for admission to the Hold for wearing make-up, pink plate mail, and blowing kisses at the then dwarven leader Kharst. So I created Dorin instead to join in the Dorf awesomeness (right before kharst died unfortunately) that was happening. Eventually Dorin became a semi-regular pc for me as I started a run of Stargazers. Was great therapy to log on with him and crush things after running around in the woods scared as hell of everything while playing a low level stargazer. Lol
Anyway, thanks for the funeral dwarven brothers and anyone else that participated, that was fantastic. Fitting end for a follower of Clangeddin to charge into a pack of stone giants and go down swinging. I am sure I will be back with a dwarf in not too long of time. Always have on EFU, one a Stoutheart, always a Stoutheart!
And yes Gloin, you were a complete bad ass!
Best send off for true heroes... sad to see you go. The Dwarven Hold is a really great faction... i strongly suggest you to roll up a gnome or dwarf of any kind... (within reason for gods sakes) always good fun... Super cast of characters on there...
