Here's another poem I wrote gais.
IT is cold
It will leave you there alone
With no-one left to hold
It doesn't care how old
It won't care if what you do is wrong
Big and short - or - tall and strong
The worst part is that it knew all along
That you would make it every day
Hardly hanging on
It doesn't care who you are
What you've been through
What you sit through
It doesn't care if you pray at night
For it knows you'll never see the light
So just go through every day
Hoping it's not the same
But it will never change
It enjoys your pain
But in the end it is the rain
Washing your hopes and dreams
Quickly down the rain
