Finally he is dead.
Believe me or not, but I can't express how happy I am about that. All the time while I couldn't find the time to play it felt like a burden to have him alive in my vault.
To many it may sound boring to play a merchant, but it was immense fun. Sadly most of my screenies didn't get saved due to that mysterious bug a while ago, sorry for just the few ones and those aren't even really good ones, but I thought I would take the opportunity to tell some things about him.
De la Sol was from Sembia, though his real name wasn't Angelo de la Sol it was Igor Kniggerbogger, a name he hated. He hated the name so much that he decided to become a whole new man once he got teleported to Ymph. He wasn't even the son of a merchant family as he told nearly everyone, he was a common thief and in his first days on Ymph picking pockets wasn't against his morals. Of course he always played the loyalist, but his plans were different, but after he got forced out the Docks he had to decide for one side of the fence and he became a Patrician and enjoyed the fruits of his work.
With that kind of backstory it isn't really surprising that his first employee was a halfdrow, which he owed much of his later success (lots of props to GoldenArrow, hope you come back to EfU if you haven't already!). I don't really wanna know what his other employees were, but I doubt anyone of them was as loyal as we told eachother :).
Anyway, I enjoyed him greatly and thanks to everyone who interacted with him, be it friend or foe.

Awesome intrigue and an interesting character who achieved a lot. I always knew there was a more to Angelo than meets the eye. Props man & thanks for the fun.
