Good idea, but in practise I think it's just going to result in counting fort saves and the OOC decision not to drink.

Except that blackout drops your pack, and empties your quick slots, and teleports you somewhere until you wake up to find your pack stripped. Even less reason to pump yourself full of addictive stat basing liquids for fun?
