Has anyone recently had issues with screenshots taken not appearing in their screenshot folder, even if it is empty to start?
Also, does a sort of blank file called "EFU" appear when you try?
That just started happening to me. It's never happened before.
And me, strangely.
Yes, happens to me. As I do not recall this happening before I installed this http://www.escapefromunderdark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47427 I believe it to be the cause. I have the full version (which is not recommended) What about the rest of you?
Happening to me as well. *sighs* Except, I did not download the link that SanTelmo indicated.
Just tried, same here. I did install the launcher in full version aswell, but as domare has the problem without using it I doubt it's related. This mysterious EFU-file is showing up aswell.
:( Having the same issue. Tried taking some today, got nothing. Last ones that saved were from the 2nd.
haven't downloaded anything since that time either...
How bizarre! What happens when you take the shots outside of efu?
I just took one in a mod, and it worked fine.
Using windowed mode usually causes this.

Just tested using full screen on EfUA and still having the same problem.
Yeah, also having the same problem even in non-windowed mode.
Pretty confident that Scotty's launcher isn't the cause of this. All the launcher does it launch nwn with some special switches on it.
So instead of running "nwn.exe" it runs something like "nwn.exe -s efu.us.to" or something similar. This won't have any effect on your screeny taking ability.
The last successful EFUA screenshot I took was on November 7th. So sometime between then and today a change may have occurred that is causing this problem.
Windowed mode does not affect my screenshots. I have taken a silly amount of EFU screenshots over the years and play exclusively in windowed mode.
The peculiar thing I notice is the creation of this 'blank' file. Because it has no file type. After I delete it and try to take another screenshot, it gets created again.
I haven't logged in for a few days and I just tried taking a screenshot IG.
I can't take screenshots either. Instead, I found a file in my screenshot folder simply named "EFU" with no extension. it's zero bytes and it appears to be written every time I hit the Print Screen key when logged into the server.
Sometimes the screenshots that I've taken actually don't appear in my folder until I reboot my computer. No idea why.
Could someone investigate by taking out overrides and see if it's one of our overrides causing this problem?
I find this really bizarre.
As far as I can tell, overrides have nothing to do with it; I only have basic mechnical over rides on: feats, spells, domains, and base items. However, with or without these in the override I still get the EFU file instead of the correct .tga. The picture can still be pasted onto an image program, however, so it's not restricting the actual button from working.
I tried opening the file with notepad, and found nothing in it; tried changing the file's extentsion to a .tga, .txt., or .jpg, which also have no effects on file size, or contexts.
I'll be damned. It's happening to me, too. Last successful screenshot was on 11/5.
I am not using Scotty's loader, and in fact, I know I have made no significant changes to my NWN setup in a couple of weeks because I've been working in the toolset. This only happens to me on EfU.
Well, on the bright side, Howland, you may have just accidentally discovered an undocumented feature of the NWN engine. I had no idea that screenshots could be in any way impacted by what server you're on.
I am completely clueless.
Are some people able to take screenshots?
My screenshots are always in the form + + . tga. Now I'm just getting the same zero byte file as everyone else, named "EFU." Could this have something to do with the server name?
I have been using the program that comes with Microsoft office called "One Note" for the last few days to take screenshots. It's pretty sweet. You just highlight the area you want screen shotted and it'll go. Not so great for action shots though!
Sounds similar to Gyazo, a screen capture thing I've been using. Takes it, and uploads it to the net, all in one. Doesn't work too well in Fullscreen, however.
As of v1060, let me know if screenshots are still broken.
