Title: Wildshape forms and summons
Post by: Oskar Maxon on October 06, 2008, 09:00:37 AM
Wildshape forms could use an update for the Surface. There are currently a lot of underdark animals amongst the available forms, but few that suit the surface. I could see deer, raven, gull, parrot and I would -love- to see snake forms.

Hearsay says the same goes for the default summons, with some underdark spider etc.

On the subject of wildshapes, could you make them a bit stronger? Except for the fact of using small creatures like a rat so you can stealth most I found were pretty useless.

Huge spider with poison? I always thought it was quite nasty with druid buffs.

Perhaps you have never used all the various wildshape forms and their subsequent abilities? Regular wildshapes are amazing situationally and then the level 8 forms give you ones that are more diverse (better multisituationally).

You have to remember, not all animals are meant to be engines of destruction. But yeah, as to the original suggestion, they could do with an update, perhaps something like a spitting snake, with an acid bolt ability?

Remove deep rothe or something, to add like a nerfed version of the bear wildshape?

I really do not get why people insist that there are no rothe on the surface. . .
