There are a number of doors or items that can be unlocked using the Open Lock skill. However, these do not allow you to re-lock them afterwards....usually defaulting to whenever the door closes to activate the lock again (if at all).
Is it mechanically possible to allow for people with Open Lock to re-lock these things? I figure it would allow characters to escape from perusers in a unique way.
Most of the doors I have encountered that are locked to begin with could be relocked... Do you have any examples to offer?
To do this basically requires identifying doors that do not have a certain property set on them, and toggling the property. Fixing them is easy. Finding them isn't.
Yes, due to the way the toolset works this would take a long time.
Convert to XML ... search and replace text ... convert back to GFF. Easy, peasy.
