Just a thought -
Would it be possible in places where there are piles of bodies to make it so that one can go and take one of the bodies for animation?
I play a necromancer and I was doing the Jergal quest, and thought it was strange that I didn't have a body to animate even though tons were lying all around me.
Just say they weren't fit for the spell. Not just any corpse will do. Then again even corpses within that quest ( when you find them ) don't work for the spell either.
Seemed like there were more than a few spots for corpses in the UD. Might be worth considering.
You can always RP animating a generic human corpse as it would create a Shambling Corpse anyway, and the Skeleton in the Closet perk will give you one per reset. I don't think there should be too many though, as buffed corpse animations can be deadly. If they were reduced in power and made more common that might be a nice way to add variation and experimentation to necromancy.
The reduced power would screw over arcane necromancers, who have to use scrolls and items until they reach level 9. I think its good that a corpse is relatively hard to find, but it just makes sense that some areas (like tombs and mausoleums) would have a lot available.
I don't think they need more corpses they have been improved a load already. Considering animation used to not get half it's current bonuses I think it's been buffed enough.
Animation's definitely buffed to high heaven. Necromancer's don't need any additional boons.
