I would describe EFU:A as a genderless being of great power able to lure players in an drain their lives away to feed the more sentient beings that keep this well designed machine in running order, the Dungeon Masters.

There is a reason why the main enemy of Sanctuary was named the Appetite, this beast must be feed and it wants players.
