Having labeled boxes for potions and equipment and weapons and stuff was extremely cool. Jance is standing around, not doing anything. I nominate him as the Box Merchant.
To a lesser degree, being able to label your OWN boxes would be super rad. If it's possible, it would be a nice touch.
Could do it the same way equippable items can be engraved, just a lot cheaper. I agree, it would be great for sorting your invent. Half the advantage of DM potion gifts on server invasions is they've come in custom named boxes :P.
Agreed. Supported 500%. It's so frustrating to lack a box merchant, and having the ability to name your own boxes for like 25-50 GP per engraving would be super nice.
The worst thing ever is trying to organize your inventory... and if you die, and someone loots your stuff and drags your corpse away... it's such a pain to sort things out.

Yes to everyone, but please make labeling/engraving boxes very cheap. Like, no more than 30-40 gold cost including the box's purchase. Engraving items and custom armor are great systems, mind you, but they are fairly rare because it just costs too darned much. For boxes, make the cost too high and people just won't bother getting neat boxes and bags, which would be a shame.

The same thought occurred to me a few days ago, but I was too lazy to post it.
I'm an organization junky, as I have been teased about by the DMs on many occasions over the years. I would love for the box merchant to return. As it stands the bags I use occupy certain areas of my inventory so I can differentiate them, but as been said, when you recollect your pack everything is jumbled. Sometimes you just don't have time to search for things, much less reset your quickslots.
