Title: Attacks on the Docks

I heard in another thread that a sending system or somthing for the docks is likely to be implemented. Following that, I think it would be very cool to have a scripted attack system for there, as the system for the Zig really does add interest to the area, bring PCs together with the attack and then offer the possibility of an Orcs II run off the back of it. Adding attacks on the docks would reinforce its position as a major area and the role of the Sons/Gangs in defending it. It could even be added before the sending system, using a combat log "Shouts of battle and the blaring of warhorns come from the Docks" or something.

I think something like this could be exciting and extremely fun, if the encounters were beyond "orcs in boats", etc, and focused on the sweet area ambience. I liked the idea of sahuagin, maybe a pirate beach raid, or maybe a gang fight has broken out and you have to defend yourself from the fighting, or jump in for kicks.

I thought it was said in the past that other "sending systems"  were not preferred so as not to divide the server.

i love the gang fight one lol perhaps we can have random bar fights? i meen its the docks, its ment to be rough but where the hell are the drunken bar fights :D

im not sure that the intoxicated script is active but if it is, it could be the tie in to beable to join in that bar brawl, kinda like a quest starter "You must be drunk before you can brawl here" kinda message that is disabled when you down a good old ale and in doing that your stats get changed -2 to wis and int and +5 to con which lasts untill you leave the bar.

I'm gonna put a shout out to all the vets and say:

Defend the Stairs Quest.

The Inner Pier is more or less barely used, you have to protect that ramp from incoming monsters spewing from the depths.
