Friends,

I do not think it is in doubt that the quality of our playerbase is in decline. Where once behemoths such as Denethen, MexicanGunSlinger and MrPAIN walked the hallowed halls of #efu, we now have to put up with lamers like Caddies and absentee DMs like 9lives. However, I am thankful every day that this one special player remains steadfast in his loyalty to Escaped from the Underdark: Archipelago.

The best brother a man could ask for, I of course speak of Halfbrood. From the earliest days of Brandon Hammersmith, through to steadfast Edwin Highrose right until amazing and well thought out PCs like Marcus Kemp, Arena Headmaster.

Today is a special day for Halfbrood- he's finally turning sixteen! Wish my little brother a big happy birthday, and pray that he continues to deliver fine character after fine character to our server.
