...and introduce myself.

Hi.

I'm newer than I was the last time I spent a few days here and got distracted by shiny new (computer parts) toys. Long time ago as technology goes.

So, starting over - looking forward to driving some batty and others insane. :) You'll see me online, I'm sure. Synaltern in game.

Sometimes, when I'm alone in my room... Peeper comes to the window... And he's all like, "omgwtf". And then I quickly try to put the cat down, but...

 Oh, um, I'm terrified? :)  Shiny nVidia 8600GT. Not unlike the motherboard I'm getting in the mail -- blasted power surges...fried a *single* RAM slot, on a two-slot mobo. Gah.

Watch out when installing the mobo that you're not on an OEM copy of Windows. I just realized that the hard way, putting together a new rig. Tried to put my old HD in there, and by the time I'd figured everything out, I had to reformat in order to use it anymore.
