On a recent expedition in the Dunwarren Ruins, a svirneblin key was located that grants access to the deeper sections of the wererat's lairs and warrens. My Knights have been using the key to cull the wererats numbers, and have exterminated over a hundred rats.

Recently, the Spellguard has begun to demand the key on grounds they "require" it to study the ruins. They refused any effort to cooperate on this issue, but it is the feeling of Councilor Toboerski that the key is not best suited in the hands of the Spellguard whose wizards are weak and highly prone to fall in battle. Indeed, every expedition I've ever led with a Spellguard agent present has resulted in that Agent's death; often mindlessly charging into a superior number of foes who quickly cut them down despite orders to remain safely behind the foreguard.

The value of the key for exploration, and for the use of groups dedicated to facing down and destroying the wererat menace of Sanctuary is undeniable. It is our recommendation that the key is given into the care of the Seekers or remains with our Knights to use in order to attack the wererats and further cull their numbers.

An ideal solution of course, is for the key to remain with the Knights as its keepers until copies can be made for those agencies that require it. Any Agency that requires it use for exploration, or raids to destroy the monsters that daily plague us can arrange an expedition with our Knights who shall be pleased to provide support and protection on the mission.
