Letter to Salina Marshall, Cail Durris

I wish to clear some of the air. It appears that much of your irrational hatred of my Order is based on your fear that my Knights will cut into your "territory" as "law keepers".

I can assure you, I have every intention of strengthening the Watch as a Councilor until the majority of the city comes to accept the peerage system--which will take years and even then will not call for the disbanding of the Watch but a change to its functions. Indeed, considering the failure of Lower to present plans for forming their own Watch-I will require Watchmen in Lower Sanctuary; preferably drawn from their own locals but overseen by experienced Watchmen from Upper for an unknown transitionary period.

My Knights are warriors, they are trained to kill men and monsters. They are not to be expected to collect fines from petty criminals or chase down purse snatchers or even to quell riots.

In Regards,

Sir Toboerski
