Letter to Mikkel Mikkelson (DM)

Mikkel,

I have two things to speak to you about.

It is with regret I inform you that the City Watch prefers the work of druegar slavers over that of free men. Rather than allow you to complete your work, they rather the job went to their friends outside the city.

However, the City Council still eagerly looks forward to you completing an extra set of gates that can be used in the overwhelming liklihood that these shoddy druegar gates collapse at the next rothe stampede.

Allow me to know how you wish to procede with this; although it is a possibility that you can make the skill of your craft better known if we are able to construct your gates with the help of a powerful Wizard known well to me. However, this Wizard is a mightily unusual man who will want to meet you in person but is pleased to enchant your gates to such extent that you will secure your son's future as the scions of the Underdark's finest smith.

Secondly, and on a minor note. I am confident you can copy a key for me, I shall of course pay handsomely for the service and request a special engraving along the key's head.

In Regards,

Sir Dungal

Mikkel,

I have not heard from you. The city is desperately looking for the source of ore you promised. If you can lead my men to this ore, I can promise you will be employed to build an ancillary gate for the city; and furthermore; as is the nature of politics; I can help pass laws that will forbid you or your family or any good family like it from again losing the patronage of the city to a bid by monsters living in the dark.

In Regards, Sir Dungal Toboerski
