Public Trials

I'm not sure if there is a law written about this or not, but I think it would be interesting to allow at least some PC's to witness trials. They would, of course, have to remain silent, as it is a courtroom setting. I think I spoke to Arkov about this and he mentioned that it might be decided by the coucil member acting as a judge. If so, it might be nice to have him make a decision regarding the "media coverage" of the trial before anything else. Anyway, feel free to tell me to stuff it. :D

Entirely up to the individual Councilor. For a particularly sensitive trial, a Councilor may close the trial to the public, and only allow the involved parties and the Watch to view it. For an ordinary trial, a Councilor may choose not to bar the public from viewing, but make no particular effort to 'advertise' it either. For a high-profile trial, a Councilor may choose to permit the public and also to have the Watch put out a sending announcing the trial. It's all up to the Councilor.
