I am here by requesting the ban of Toboerski knight Melrick from the Town hall for the election duration given his intent to try and influence the voting in his favor by remaining a presence in the booth and leading people personally to do the voting with him so that he can make sure they press the correct button.
I would also like the official statement saying that Toboerski knights should not be allowed to return to the voting booth once they have voted, to prevent this happening further and be arrested if they do. I've been hearing about the uproar bieng caused the first time. This should Not have to happen and I'd like to deal with it firmly.
Noone should have to vote under duress.

Sergeant Marshall,
The Office of the Mayor agrees with your sentiment that no citizen should have to vote under duress.
Mayor Bresley spoke with Councilor Toboerski about the incident in question, however, and after discussing the matter at length he deemed that a ban of that sort would simply be playing into the hands of opposing candidates who may have willfully exacerbated what was initially a simple misunderstanding into a full-blown incident. We have Councilor Toboerski's assurances that his Knights will not be loitering inside the voting booth in any fashion which could be construed as intimidating or discouraging voters, or forcing them to vote under duress. Should his Knights abide by this, we see no reason to ban Melrick from the Town Hall, as he has already served his time for the unpleasantness in which he was involved. As Mayor Bresley pointed out, a ban on his presence in the Town Hall would prevent him from encouraging voters from the proper location: namely, the podium.
As always, the Mayor appreciates the vigilance of the Sanctuary Watch and reminds you that it is best to tread particularly lightly when dealing with matters related to the city's elections.
