Big thanks to the DM's

Just wanted to say thanks to the DM's as I've noticed the server not crashing every 2 hours as it was not more than a few days ago.

I'd also like to thank them for their recent involvement in several quests that I've either been a part of or heard about as it seemed like there was a bit of drought there for a while on the server.

So just a bit of kudos to the effort made!!

I second that :)

heh, my monk died twice, and yet, it was so much fun :)

THANK YOU DMs :D (shame i had to lose howland's quest with the undead in upper for RP reasons)

I noticed that too :) What was the problem that caused the crashes anyway?

Chances are it's called...software.

Way to go, DMs!

yeah the DM's here rock :D

I just wanted to publicly thank Howland for the quest he ran for House Toboerski tonight. It was great fun.. and very, very challenging. A mixture of the "there is no hope fights" and the "seems almost winnable... quickly use some tactics, oh my god we're all going to die" fights.

No in all seriousness, the vast majority of the challenges were -just- right for us and our group. It was a great chance for Melrick to get some revenge for what happened during a DM spiced up quest in the past involving the same creatures. The experience was good and the loot was generous without being over the top.

All in all no complaints. Though if I may make a suggestion - is there some way to fix those purple crystals? The only way to make them work is to click them a large number of times, causing a great deal of spam. This resulted in several needless deaths at the end as we missed Dungal's order to follow him. (Was lost in the spam of about 4 people trying to get healed by the crystal.)

If they have a set number of charges, can you have it simply say "this crystal is depleted" letting us know that its pointless to keep trying? If the crystals are designed to be used again and again, can you have them somehow inform us when we attempt to use it? Such as when you click on it says, "This crystal looks dark, but a faint light glows within as it tries to recharge itself." Something along those lines would be helpful.

Either that or have it open up a dialog box to prevent several people from using it at once, where it can display the same messages as above. In fact I would encourage this route, as it could allow for other ways to interact with the crystal. Such as giving someone the ability to hack off a bit of it or something. (They seem to function the same as the portable "purple crystals" - a player could just gain one of those in his inventory, and not be able to use the crystal again.)

But anyway, great fun - thanks for running it for us Howland. :)

Go for the server not crashing

DMs rock!!!!!! W00T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D
