"Seeking information on potential arsons committed in Lower Sanctuary in the previous days. Arsonists attracted a magical assault from citizens defending their homes.
The identities of these arsonists, any damage to buildings, and any harm to citizens needs to be known. The Toboerski Knights are conducting this investigation to ensure the truth of the matter which resulted in the murder of at least one citizen.
Awards of up to 1000 gold coins are offered for information that exonerates the innocent and condemns the guilty. An even higher reward is offered for the identity of the bandit who began this battle to defend Lower Sanctuary from what he viewed rightly as unwelcome invaders."

Toboerski;
A small party under guidance of myself and a man of Lord Levine entered lower with a man of the Triad, burning the plague and disease ridden bodies and performing final rites. The common folk were not harmed and we were reluctantly forced away from a few rotting corpses. Most of the citizenry did not seem to mind our aid and only a few were pushed to suspicion at the behest of radical fools who sought to spout insanities about our intentions.
Sargeant Marshall of the Watch joined us, as well as Sir Eristhenes, a member or aspirant of your order who bore your colors proudly and spoke highly of you. He followed us for some time but said little until we were attacked by some random bandit who was naught but a distraction. Your own man, Sir Eristhenes, then turned on us in the most craven fashion, confusing and bewildering our ranks and turned his blade upon Sargeant Marshall, a woman no less.
It was by my blade and the aid of a few others that the traitorous half-orc of yours was slain, his body in the posession of the Watch as I last recall.
There was no damage to buildings, despite the uneducated protests of the radicals, I have never known stones to burn. The rites and pyres were made well away from any structures.
The citizen murdered was Sir Eristhenes, your own man, the killer was myself and others in self defense. None will dispute this.
You may send my award to The Rock Bottom, I trust self admittance of "Guilt" is worth 1000 coins, if not more.
Signed,
Sir Mormont Baelister

Excellent Sir Baelister.
I expect to deliver the 1000 gold reward as soon as you pay the 2000 gold wereguild for the death of my aspirant. As an honorable man, I expect you are familiar with the tradition.

Sir Dungal,
No. I am not familiar with any such tradition. When a man turns away his vows and sheds the title of a Knight, such as Eristhenes did when he joined your order, and attacks the Watch and local folk through the use of enchanting tools of bewilderment he at that point becomes a criminal. I will not pay any sort of charge for putting down this wanton criminal.
