Sir Melrick,
I trust you recall the words you shed in my direction so carelessly. I also expect this letter finds you in good enough health to handle the steel you so blindly carry. Your words have slighted and insulted me in the face of those I fought beside against your own traitorous and cowardly comrade.
You may issue a sincere public apology for your insolence, or you may answer me as true sworn man with steel in the arena. Should you answer me with only more foolishness I will have no choice but to make your cowardice public.
Signed,
Sir Mormont Baelister
