Scion Toboerski

Written as neatly as ever, touches of a faint, somewhat exotic perfume - even for this place - pressed to a corner of the paper where she lent as she wrote

Scion Toboerski,

Your sterling work in the defence of the lower city continues to do yourself and your knights credit. Indeed, many the trip through the gates to the canal ward have had your knights greet me as an old friend, and the gesture is welcomed.

A subject has arisen concerning both the defence and your own interests. The day before this should reach you, the lower city was assaulted from the deeper ruins by a horde of undead - shambling things, but tough, and the magic imprinted made them difficult opponents. The true horror of this, however, was that the Chosen were guiding them.

Naturally they have been cut down and the ruins cleansed for a time, though I am sure it will not remain. I would show you the locale, as well as a submerged entrance to the Machine of the deeper rubycutters, that you might better guard the city from this threat.

Casimir also was present, and I delayed my missive as I assumed his would reach you long before mine; this is but an assurance of what you must already know. If there is anything which lacks clarity or could be expanded on, seek me or write to me.
