[a sealed letter is delivered to the enclave of the Seekers, along with a small note]
The note reads:
- Agents of the Seekers,
Kindly see to it that this letter finds it's way into the hands of one "Seeker Lisa", whom we encountered out in the Underdark last night as she discovered the lair of a certain Rashemi slaver. This is a matter of some urgency to us.
Our thanks.
Sincerely, Sir Owaine Cambruin
The letter reads:
- Seeker Lisa,
As we did not have the time to be properly introduced when last we met, allow me to do so now. I am Sir Owaine Cambruin; a Knight of the Order of the Golden Lion and, as you may recall, a former captive of the one known as Naru Ja'barb. Again I must offer you my sincere thanks for your most timely intervention -- had you not arrived when you did we might still be in shackles, at best. Know that we are in your debt, and that you may call upon our aid should there be anything that we might be of assistance with. I have nothing but respect for your organisation and the hope it brings to the citizens of Sanctuary.
Truth be told I have a second reason for getting in touch with you, my lady. My associates and I require further information on Naru Ja'barb, and to the casual observer it appeared that you were no stranger to this villain. While we did learn that he was intending to ship us off to a place called Fort Mur, to sell us into slavery there, we have nothing else to go on at the moment. Any information that you send our way shall be greatly appreciated, as we have a debt to settle with him.
I have settled in at the tavern called the Rock Bottom for the time being -- you may reach me there.
May the grace of Torm be with you always, that you may walk the path of Frederick Bresley.
Sir Owaine Cambruin, The Order of the Golden Lion
