I have been attempting to locate Valerious of the Crone staff for business endeavors but have been unsuccessful. I will offer a reward to anyone that brings me information of his fate or whereabouts. You may leave your replies in the Crone for Maeturorant Gorthaurca.

Valerius is dead, slain by Sir Dungal in some sort of duel over a disagreement where one felt threatened by the other in their bid for power over Lower.

Valerius challenged me to a duel in the Pissing Crone on the night of his summit. It angered him that I insisted upon my right to speak at the summit when the audience had clearly not picked up on his recommendations for the city's future.

He attacked me and was duly beaten. Then upon being healed insisted I was to be banned from Lower Sanctuary, and that if I did not leave immediately I would leave dead floating down the canal.

I informed him that if that was his choice, I sadly would have to fight him there honorably and end our fued. He accepted the challenge as a man, and died as one should.

Valerius was a brave and courageous spirit. I gave his body full funeral honors in the canal, and then had the corpse burned and the ashes spread over the canal.

A 200 gold wereguild was paid to Cyrus of the Crone to commend the fees for his loss.
