To Zav Carstain at the Rock Bottom Inn [DM Thrawn]

Zav Carstain,

I've acquired a copy of volume 14 of your notes from the Dwarf woman Ebeneezra's collection, and would like to say I'm highly interested in persuing this matter with you. I am Sergeant Durris of the Sanctuary Watch, and am highly interested in any means by which the gates of the city can be reinforced or protected. To protect the city, and to keep it safe from invaders for another 150 years is the single most important duty any man can under take in the name of Sanctuary.

I fortunately also have a good idea of exactly where one might look to find this armory you write about. On a non-standard patrol, ran by myself and an associate of mine, Sergeant Marshall, with the Civil Defence League that we've headed, came across an area accessible by the sewers. It lead to some ancient parts of Dunwarren, including a hidden area, in which was concealed what could only be a vault. We were unable to access it however, there was a heavy and immovable door, numbered "09". On investigation, we came to discover a possible 'keyhole', in the shape of a crescent. It is my belief that this may very well be exactly the vault in which the armory you write of is concealed. It happens that I have an associate in the Watch capable of getting us there, as well as a number of people who I might call on to aid in the gruntwork of the task at hand.

Regardless of whether that is the place or not though, if you believe you know the better place to look, at your request, I will put myself and those I might call on at your disposal to find this trove of equipment.

If you are interested in exploring this avenue, write back to me promptly at the Watch House, and we might persue this further.

Respectfully, Sergeant Durris Sanctuary Watch
