've been looking in the forums for info on Wizard familiars. Are there any custom scripts for particular familiars I should be aware of? eg: A pseudo-dragon being summoned as a Lantern Archon instead?, or something like that? I heard IC that 'mage eaters' look like globes of light? Is that the case with familiars in EfU, or do I just need more sleep? Reason being, I was gonna choose a Pixie as Kepler Szul's familiar, being the closest thing I think of that might be akin to his chosen wizardly deity Mystra. Pixie's alignement is NG and Kepkler's alignment is CN.. but i roleplay Kepler mostly as a 'free spirit' not simply a chaotic character. Any suggestions for a familiar choice? Maybe Bat coz their seems to be many of them around the caverns trying to eat me? The Mephits dont interest me. The Eye-ball is just plain evil. I want the familiar to reflect a gift or symbol sent from Mystra. So which familiar?

All of the familiars have indeed been modified in EfU. You can check out this page to see what has been modified to what. For your specific situation, I'm not sure what to suggest.
