Now this is just a general idea, not even in the realm of a suggestion because I'm just curious about thoughts; ideas people would have, how things would generate through a brainstorm. I'm not really serious about this; but what if Traensyr was a setting?

What factions would you envision, what kinds of quests (what does a drow do for Fed-Ex anyway?), and how would it influence EfU if it ever happened one day out of the blue? I mean, deep down; some of us must have considered this.

Holy $#?^ ! This would be an RP wet dream. All the different Houses(and the ensuing power struggles, within and without),The Clergies(particularly those other than Lolth), the sexism faced by the males of the race, then there is just the plain-old desire for power. I have to be missing at least a thousand other possibilities....

Not viable as a PW, I'd say. Maybe someone might want to run an unofficial campaign off it (Or one of us make it official by running it ourselves, though I'm not sure how that would go down with the Skipper). Too specialised. One race, one sex, one faith, one alignment group, or face real difficulties.

And there's already at least one PW that does this already, though I've never been there myself. Menzoberranzan, of course.

I agree with Lado in that I think you need to have a setting which accomdates all the classes, alignments, races etc. with reasonable equity, before it can become a PW.

Multiple races and allignments can be supported, most with restrictions though. I've played on similar servers before, and it's fun.

While I prefer dark settings, I doubt I would enjoy one set in Traensyr very much... mostly due to the reasons already mentioned above. I've never really liked playing elves, and I'm no fan of cross-gender roleplaying (which I'm sure would be even more typical for such a setting due to the lesser role of the male drow).

One set in Ravenloft, on the other hand... yes please.
