It is as one leader to another that I write to you. A man's reputation for honor and dignity is nothing beside that of his clan or order.

I wish to inform you that your clan's honor is being besmirched, but whether by foes or by the misguided action of friends I can not judge.

It appears that large bodies of armed dwarves are entering Lower Sanctuary in an effort to "bring order" to the chaos. This has resulted in estimates of over 20 deaths, nearly one tenth of the total death toll since the erradication of the Tigereye mercenaries.

I will appreciate if you can cooperate on bringing the guilty to justice or reigning in on this violence with our Knighthood. As we have taken it upon ourselves with permission from many on the Council to guard the gates of Lower Sanctuary, and we are working closely with the citizens of Lower Sanctuary in bringing calm and safety.

The contents of this letter are brought to your attention specifically because of the large number of citizens in Lower who have protested the violence of these dwarven bands, and it is our hope that you can aid in calming the bloodshed before the gangs begin turning on even the innocent dwarves who call Lower their home.

I am most disturbed to hear of these events. The Stoutheart Clan prides itself on honor and adherence to the just laws of both Clan and the Town of Santuary

It would be particularly helpful if you could describe these individuals or perhaps even get names of those suspected of such atrocities.

However, you should be aware that every dwarf in Sanctuary is not a Stoutheart. In fact, many have been not allowed membership due to their dangerous and violent ways.

If you would like to set up a meeting with the Thane or myself, I would be honored to help arrange it. I served as Transistional Thane until Hammer of Moradin and Thane Anvilsmasher was able to attend to his duties.

The honor of my Clan is very important to me good sir. The well-being of the Clan is my primary role as its High Priest and as a servant and healer of my patroness, Berronar Truesilver.

If there is anything I can do to clear our name of such foul actions, you have my word that it shall be done. And in turn, anything you do to assist the Clan, my Thane, and myself will be greatly appreciated.
