I am writing to you regarding the group that assaulted us as we approached the Sanctuary gates two nights hence. I am curious if you knew anything about the motives and identities of the attackers. I believe the human giving out instructions to have been one 'Restar', a resident of lower sanctuary, but have less knowledge of the other assailants.

I am sure you can understand how I would wish to establish whether this group will be taking further action to endanger my body so that I can take steps to prevent it, and will therefore work with me on this matter.

The hostile group that assaulted us the other night was not hostile to you for any other reason than being in close proximity to me. Their sole purpose was, from what I gathered, to force me into releasing a prisoner who was up for trial of Capital Crimes.

The Trial has since been carried out, with a foolish sentence which is entirely impossible for the Watch to enforce.

This suspect, Restar, however, was caught for a crime unknown to me, outside the Town Hall, shortly after the trial was completed. He is currently awaiting trial in a cell at the Watch House.

You might write to Sergeant Marshall and volunteer to be a witness to his actions outside the gate.

I'm currently not of the Watch, due to being suspended from Active Duty, and can therefore, not help you any more than I have with this letter.
