Watch House Lock main Door

If you lock the main door from the inside, people can still get in from the outside but can't get out, thus trapping them. Can it be made so that locking the inside door also locks the outside door on the "Upper Sanctuary" map please?

It would be nice to have this on the Spellguard Tower as well, and also some way to manage the door to the upper gate bunker. That one in particular is troublesome, becuase there is no way to close it after you've gone through from the outside.

The Watch House Door can not even be locked from the outside. That is, the Watch Key doesn't effect it.

There is a little trick to lock doors, which I am shocked more people do not know. First, unlock the door but do NOT open it. Then, walk away a distance. Right click and using the RADIAL MENU, open it. Before you close the distance, right click again and using the RADIAL MENU, lock it. With a little practice you can do this quick enough that you can be roughly 5 feet away and make it work.

can we just have it so it's simple and not reliant on engine exploiting? Its really annoying to have to do that way and slow.

Thats not an engine exploit. I bet the majority of the locks in your house you can lock, then close behind you.

Town Hall maybe? I can see a situation where the Town Hall could need to be locked. And I see no reason why a Watchman or Councillor wouldnt be able to lock the door. (except that the door might not have a lock)

I don't know if this affects the Tornbeard Hall door?

The Crone as well, albeit that one's a bit iffy.

You can choose to spawn in the town hall. That could be troubling for some people.

as well as the crone, as i recall... :) and yet, thouse should be able to be locked. in case of some danger and need of locking the cityhall, im sure the player wont wish to endager himself, without meeting one who can unlock the doors and get info about the danger outside
